We are delighted to offer an outstanding collection of 18th century porcelain and glass in our forthcoming Antique and Vintage Collectables Auction this Saturday 20th May.
The pieces formed a private collection and are being sold as part of a deceased's estate.
Pieces to be offered include an important Flight Worcester plate (pictured above left) from the service made for the first Duke of Clarence, later to become William IV (Estimate £3,000-£5,000), a Flight Worcester plate from the 'Hope' service made for Admiral Lord Nelson (above right), and an 18th Century double knop air twist cider glass (below).
The collection comprises over fifty lots and includes Meissen and Dresden ware and figures as well as Venetian, Jacobite and other superb examples of 18th century glass.
